Ascendera Group · Leadership
Senior operators, engineers and assurance specialists. Every principal has led the work they now lead for you, on sites, on plants and in boardrooms across five continents.
The principals
The people below are the people who show up. Every engagement is partner led, so the person you meet is the person accountable for what lands on your desk.
Three decades in international investment banking, most recently Director of Investments at NEOM. André leads our work with lenders and investors, and looks after our client relationships at group level.
Over twenty-five years leading health, safety and worker welfare on some of the world's biggest projects. Michael built and led the NEOM Safety Academy, serving more than 160,000 workers. His reports come with a route to fixing things, not just a list of problems.
Worker welfare and labour standards at NEOM, the World Health Organisation and the United Nations. Ibrahim helped register more than 140,000 migrant workers, and he speaks Arabic, English and Mandarin, so workers can talk to him directly.
Over twenty-five years in safety leadership across global energy and infrastructure, including running oil and gas operations at chief executive level. Shaun checks the controls that prevent fatalities in the field, so his findings are things you can act on, not theory.
Partnerships & board advisory
Practice leads we mobilise under exclusive and expert partnership arrangements, plus the adviser behind our technology direction.
A former special forces operator and team commander with twenty-two years of service. Daniel founded his regiment's human performance programme and holds a PhD in decision-making under threat. He leads the HPO practice, from the boardroom to the frontline.
Fourteen years building high-voltage power lines as a linesman and foreman, followed by years as a technical trainer inside a UK power company's own academy. Lee leads the OHTL practice, and he has done the job on the towers himself.
Twenty-five years in safety leadership, most recently Chief of HSSE at ACWA Power, with senior roles at Wood Group and Siemens before that. Simon shaped the original thinking behind Veriso and advises our board on technology.
How we lead
Principals walk sites, read registers and interview workers. Leadership that stays close to the work makes better calls about the work.
There is no sales layer and no hand-off. The person you meet is the person accountable for what lands on your desk.
Every engagement builds the Kingdom's own practitioners, through Kalibra, through method transfer, and through the people we hire and develop in Riyadh.
